Seems like the neighbours don't like the noise in Parry Sound and the township has a bylaw about racing in the township as well as the zoning for the land...

Even though I've never attended,that really is sad.And whats worse,it affects a lot of charities.It's too bad property can't be purchased in the area for this kind of activity.

I went to watch the event last year and i thought it was awesome...It gave me a heightened feeling of the sport as i watched it take place right in front of me..and gave me the extended ambition to compete...I hope this can all be resolved as the local residents need to realize what the down fall of closing such a good place..shame on them:(

Puhleeease!!! That's the biggest crock of sh!t I've ever heard. What f'n difference does it make to this person how someone elses property is zoned. Is she saying that if the zoning was right she wouldn't care. What kind of "problems" could she have related to the zoning? I call BULLSHIT on you lady. WTF:rant:

And.... they have recancelled the September ORCC event!

Looks like the ORCC event will be back in 2010, but nothing this year. :(
