broken

i think every body knows that the aluim. third member in a kick are known to brake at the pinion mount but tonight i removed the front housing out of a 2000 tracker that was never of road that had the long side of the housing (drivers side ) broken clean off the center of the hosing.....has any one else seen this ..? this will stop the pinion mount from braking .. but will it stop the housig exstenion from braking ????

the only way i can see the tube rip off the housing side like u describe is if one of the mounts let go completely and it torqued itself off. perhaps a weak factory weld or maybe even an impact of some sort coulda done it too.

no mounts broke maybe an impact i'm not sure ....the guy delivers mail and news papers in the country .....he some times gets another guy to deliver papers on the weekends maybe he knows what happend:roll: :roll:

don't matter he got it welded up and i put it back in tonight
