Whats up guys,

Just wanted to know. I have a 85 sj410 with the 1.0L engine. I put axels from a sammi on and I have 33 inch tractors on it. The stock geraring from the sammi is having a hard time pushing the tractors. I was just wondering the gearings from a sidekick are 512 will it fit on the sammi axels?

THANKS,
MONSTER

Yes

you need two sets of Tracker front gears. The entire third member will drop into the Sami front axle no problem. You should reuse you're rear Samurai third member with the other tracker front R&P. You can use a front tracker third in a rear Sami axle if you swap out the side gears, but you will have pinion bearing oiling issues (lack of oil!). Best bet is to use tracker R&P mounted in your Sami cast iron third. You will need a cross pin retainer of some sort when installing 5.13 Ring gear on your carrier. The 5.13 ring gear is thinner than your 3.73 ring gear. Coffee can, apple juice can, tack welds, or whatever.
