The longer wheelbase and the open concept rear makes the 38.5's look small now!!!
Great work. i bet it feels good to have itr on all fours again.

Hey Mudlite I am not trying to bust balls here but is the bar that runs under you lights bent funny? It may be an opticle thingy but in the pictures it looks...well...off.
Really nice work though, do you have a need for a custom muffler? We are jigging some hardcore parts up tonight, absolutely damage proof, quiet and they flow like mad.

Which bar are you talking baout? The body trim under the lights ot the lower bush guard bar? The body trim is worked to form arounf the rad which sits in front of the stock grill location. I set up the motor /tranny/ t-case where I wanted and left the rad to last. ( mount it where it could go as aposed to making it work arounf the rad)
As far as exhaust, I am currently running glass packs, but it is on my list of things to do. It sounds like a f'ng John Deer right now ;-)

Sorry, I meant the bar that runs directly under your rear tail lights...

it is curved, yes. My philosphy is bend once, cut once, weld once. If it can't be seen from both sides at once, its close enough....LOL.
Perfect simitry doesn't add strength, but it does add cost if you have to throw a few away to make it right.

I generally stay clear of mud, and if I do have to , wheel speed is not an issue. You have seen me drive. Its all about finees ;-)

It strikes me as odd that the three guys I know of as "Mud",that being Mudlite,Muddmachine, and Mudslug, dont play in the mud!
Although, after just draining the water out of my front wheel bearings, and contending with all the dried mud under the truck,I understand why,but will be back in it asap.It has been fun .
Bye the way,Ihave followed the build up of "Mudlite",and read the old pages as well, and I goto say...well done!! Cant wait to see it at Suzican .

What is the hydrolic ram with 2 heims on the rear diff cover ?
I checked 3-4 pics with it and I don't understand what it's purpose. Hydrolic diff cover opener ? lol

hahahahahha..........
The joint on the rear cover is simply a diagonal brace to help pread the load off the bridge over the diff. I needed something removable and had spare hiems from my ladder bar.
