Suzican convoy from TO

Hey kids, the time is nearing for our beloved suzican so I figure I'd start making plans for the trek.

Lucy and I are planning to leave on Thurday day sometime... time to be be determined later. We'll be leaving from the Yonge/401 area in TO. Is anyone out there interested in a convoy style trek? We can all meet at my pad and head out from here.

The only special requirment I have is that I MUST stop at weigh scales.. the only one I know of that ways is near ganaquae (sp?) but Im not sure if thats even en route to Calabogie.

i am towing , don't want to be stuck there if i break something and too far for poor old CAA to bring me home with out breaking me$$$$$$$
as long as my trailer guy comes through ,or i will be using a dolly or some thing like that.i will find out today what time i can leave, and will post here,then we can arrange a meeting place.i figure any one leaving from this area and towards Windsor, we could meet at the McD's on the 401 , just out side of Cambridge, then meet up with Depot just outside of T.O.,and go from there.
just a though , nothing in stone as of yet.

as long as my buddy doesn't forget about me with his trailer, i am able to leave any time thurs.i guess i will do some research on the wieght of my truck and the weight of the trailer,vs my friends truck and trailer.

does any one know if u haul still has car trailers for rent, as i would like a back up plan just in case.

uhaul still has car trailers here in hamilton for rent.
I rented one this year.
one day (24 hours) = 68.95 incl. taxes

It costs nothing to reserve one but the need 24 hours notice upon cancellation to avoid any penalties.

i thinking that we could all meet somewhere just out side of T.O., maybe at the next rest stop or gas station after your cutoff.not sure what is after you on the way , but if you know , then name it and we will be there. and that will go for anyone wanting to run in a group at that time.

every one must be doing last minute things to bother with the site!!!!
well, my rig is done as far as i am going with it anyway.
i should be ready to leave around 11:00,just have to replace some lenses on the trailer, and load it up.any one wanting to join, and is leaving around that time, you can either get me here in the morning,and after 9:00am i won't be home anymore. will stop in the first major gas station/rest area just out side of T.O., which should be around 12:00/12:30, other then that, i hope every one has a safe drive up!!!!!!

my rig is finally ready to roll, not done but good enough for tonite. Gonna grab 2 hrs sleep and pack up in the a.m. Still planning on leaving at noon from my pad - no earlier fer sure.
