Hey what does everyone use as a "truck knife"? last year there was a few times when i needed a good strong knife but didn't have one handy and I had to borrow one. Well seeing that I hate to borrow peoples tools I am going to buy one of my own.
Any suggestions? i have been hunting Pirate and they just basically love everything..
I was looking to buy from here http://www.knifezone.ca
Its a Canadian company and i like keeping the money here as best I can...What do you think?
This is my choice so far

looking....looking..looking........ no idea, they're all independant franchises and its called like Bob's TSC or Franks TSC or whatever. so i dunno.
Sorry dude, my suggestion is the Army surplus store down near Queen and Bathurst in toronto or something, old army knives ROCK, and they can cut through the bones in yer toes if yer stranded and hungry

I just use my machete for everthing. It works for everything from Tomatoes to rad hoses. I swear by that.
The surplus store never raped me either. Payed $15.00 for it about 11 years ago/.

Remember, if you do get pulled over and they find that yer screwed, what i use is a folding wood saw, kinda like a big bow knife, but the blade is a bloody ginsu!!!!, Cops cant say squat cause its a garden implement, (which means i can have a hoe in the truck too hehehehehhe)

As long as its not concealed and the blade is under 8" I believe you are ok....just be cool with them and they are cool with you..

I hate O.P.P. I like the regional cops alot better. Less strict on minor shit.

Thats why I said "as long as its not concealed" as in consealed on your person. Its going to be locked in the bottom of my Toy box so I am not really worried about the Po Po...
Remember as long as your not being an ass they will be cool if all your t are crossed and your i's are dotted...they are people too!!
If you get an ass having a bad day just give him what he wants and deal with it..

Mudslug, the TSC is in Bowmanville, I think either just off the highway at either Waverly or Liberty... I think it's at Liberty, North of the 401 and West of the Exit by 100 Metres or so...

I never have a problem with the machete. I use it at the campsite and then it goes into my zuk and then at night it goes in my tent or locked in the truck. I have no worries about a police officer bugging me about it. Like mudslug says. If a cop pulls us over it is not because i may have a machete amongst all the camping gear. If he does search us it is in my tool box. I have never had a problem and personally don't think that i ever will. I play smart and keep it away from kids (including Depot) and have never had a problem in 11 years.
