I think I may have started something I might regret... the back end of the body was destroyed after the barrel roll at suzican so I needed to do something.

I'm clueless what to do next I'm in desperate need of ideal/imagination here.. HELP!

lol too late! I'm extending the rear end 12" bringing me to a woping 98.9", so I had to cut the back off either way. Another reason is that I'm finally getting Toyota axles and I'm just too cheap to buy gears for it so I'm going to build a dual t-case setup (very much like Andy's).. UNLESS... I can find another decent body for REAL CHEAP

hahahahahahahahahahahahaha........its contageous!!!!!!!!!
hahahahahahahaha....Start looking at comp. rigs to see how they have done body pannels. If you have mechanical fasteners, then you can replace bent or dented pannels easly. Dove-tail the rear while your at it

looks good. The X behing the seats, can u bring it all the way down to the frame instead of the cross piece? Or add another X under that one. I think it would really help stiffen the cage up and prevent it from shifting sideways in a hard barrel roll.

btw what do you use for coils in that thing?? Since not being able to keep up to your speed on the "roads" that led to the trails at suzican, I think I'm ditching the leafs for coils, at least the rears. Also I never noticed if you and Scott used shocks at all the way you guys flexed??

I was using Chevette Diesel front coils (just for the lengh and flex) but I finally lost one this weekend, so I've recently swaped out the rears to TJ front coils. We do have shocks (longer ones obviously).

Chevette? Who the hell would put anything from a chevette in a zook? haha
I'm one to talk. I just wasn't sure how to tell which coils will have enough flex etc. I guess something long and light is best hey?
