Yup you nailed it right on the money there sarg. we had to do that for him twice last season alone!!!! I'll let him tell you the story on how he used his winch for half a season for the same trail fix.

LMFAO!!!!! yes sirrie!!! thats Depot engineering at its best. and u know waht???? it works good ass !!!!!

ok.. the story .. realy quick.... back when I first started wheeling.. long lont long (ok, 3 years ago) ago.. i was at raglands with the boys... tried a washout.. flipped on side and had to winch out... little did i know but drives tire got stuck in sand.. but 9000 pound warn didnt care... PING!!!! spring snapped... drivers side, rear main.. right at the wrap... long story short.. got ehr out.. got spring in place.. wrapped in chain and bolt... hooked winch upto front axel, and pulled till there was tension on chain/bolt/spring assembly.... wheeled like that for 6 more months no probs.. even disconected winch a few times to pull me outta crap! :) not that crap ever happens! :P
