for those of u that might be interested...

bearings can be either reasonbly priced or "please use the vaseline first" type of deal.

example.. 84 toyota.. main pinion bearing

Toyota - bout$100 - i can get for about 90 - whoopie
UAP - my cost 60-70 depends on how fast i want em in
ato - $40 - delived to my house later that evening

and funny enough, everywhere cept dealer i go, i get SKF bearings. and they seem to work pretty damn good for me cept when i grenade anotehr t-case :(

now i cant get any bigger discounts than what i already get from my various sources but I am working on a little side venture here.. buddy of a buddy is close friends with one of the plant managers at SKF... i asked the Q.. if I put in a significant enough of an order through buddy and buddy, can I go direct and save a whack load... answer came back - sure but must provide skf numbers with a turnarond of about a week.. not next day...

So over the last little while,I've been collecting the skf #'s of all the bearings I've needed or bought for others. unfortunatly, most of those were toyota bearings and the one zuk bearing i did need, i had to go dealer since the skf ones came sealed and i needed open ones for inside the t-case - gonna have to do more research on that one.

So hows this for an idea.. all of u taht are interested.. provide me with skf #'s of the bearings u use and are interested in.. what they already cost u and lets see if we can make this order direct thing happen and save everyone a whack load of $$...

now dont get all excited now... this is not gonna happen overnight... if u need a bearing - go get it.. this is more of a long term thing till we get it all set up...

feedback is welcome... shudddap sarg!!! lol j/k

Depot, You probably know the SK number for this... I need the front bearings for the toyota front axle king pins. I know you knew the part number before, so.... I think they are 38 bucks a piece through Peterborough Main bearing.
