SJ 410 folding windshield frame replacement?

Does anyone know of a place to find a replacement folding windsheild frame for an 81' SJ410? The the frame on the rig my son and I are building for him is all but gone, if I cannot find a replacement I'll attempt a fix, but swapping sounds a lot easier...

Try to find a place that wrecks suzuki’s they might have one cheap. A private wrecker is better than a company becuase they are cheaper.

I think the 410 is a little narrower than a sammy

I could be wrong, but I think it's only the frame and axles that are narrower.

i think they're the same, just find a sammy one and swap hardware, then you got your fold-down back.

Aftermarket replacement is around the $150 range. Dont buy used, chances are it'll be tender.

Try "Japan only" in Scarborough. The guy I bought my zook off of, said he paid $75 B/N there.

For the record, a Sami frame will work just fine. I pulled one off of a 1988 and it fit right in place, no problem.

I just took a samy windshiled frame yesterday and put in on my sj410. nothing was different.

the only differences on the sam - sj410 is that the springs are narrower, and the FLARES are not as big. other minor differences do exist like the tail gate, engine tranny t-case axles, dash.

really, what is diffferent about the tail gate? looks the same to me. I have both.
