Some of you might know I went down to Colorodo to pick up a little toy for myself. Its a '72 LJ20. The drive itself was a nightmare but all is good and its home safe and sound. Gonna try to get the 2stroke 2cylinder started but if it doesnt ill through in my 1.3 i have kick'n around. Got alot of women calling it "cute" so ill be out there on cruise nights picken up the ladies.............. and doing nothin. :D

Its all original even the paint. The winshield frame and rear gate are from another truck.

not sure what the plans are yet but one step at a time.

Need some ideas for the mods.

Any ideas welcome.

here are some pics.

Ohhhh I have, Ive been waiting on a part from Japan to try out my new front disc conversion and rebuilding the carb. Gotta find a place that has jets for the carb so I can drive when its cool out. This rig came from California so the jetting needs to be adjusted for this climate and altitude.

Pics comming soon. :D

The Volvo died again....time to :nuke: the fawker. It died down the street from home and pushed it as far up the drivway as I could. Tried to start the lawntractor to pull it up the rest of the way and the thing didnt want to start. Then I was thinking of chalking the wheels on the LJ and using a comealong but it didnt reach. Fawk it, I started the LJ and tied a rope to the volvo, dropped the LJ in 4low, and dragged that POS into the garage. Gotta love that. 32trs old vs 9... :D

VOLVO SUCKS..... :thefinger

Hey Beast, wanted to ask you at Suzican... is this thing oil injected or mix?

And maybe I missed it but how many cc's ?

I still say you must be very uncomfortable in it, I have something with more leg room that you could drive, Id even think bout swappin it for yer LJ, cuz Im a nice guy.

It does look good! saw him a suzican and followed him half way home. It's friggin adorable especial when he starts it up, it's like a baby zuk! But if you do see it on the road , Do Not! drive behind him without a rebreather. :yike :puke:

LOL Lucy, Your right Depot it is oil injected and the cc's are 359. I had absolutly no back pain at all. It is one of the most comortable rigs Ive ever driven to be honest. Sorry Mudd. :D The best was having to pull over to let the line up pass and see'n Mudpig drive by waving his fist. I couldnt hear him but im sure you know what he was yellin.lol

Top speed the whole way back was 80kph at best WITH the windshield down to reduce drag.

A little sun burn on the forehead and bug splats on the glasses but the drive and experience was well worth the seat time.

Still havn't washed it. :thefinger
