My cousin and I are going for sure. We're just inviting anyone else who might want to join. Mudball said he'd join us too(I've never met him but I will).
For the people who are coming, I figure we'd meet at the Cheney Ultramar gas station, since its got a big parking lot :)
Figure we meetup between 12-12:30, figure out what trails we want to ride(if anyone knows them) and leave by 1 for some nice trailing. If no one knows the area, ppl can take turns leading(not me I'm stock hehe) and we can just go with the flow.
If anyone has a better idea, please let me know, I just want to get off the streets and in the woods :)
Afterwards,

Oh yeah... we want to play in the Larose forest, haven't played there yet(in the good trails anyways).

I'll see if Szabotage wants to join us..
I don't think he'll have his truck but he may want to come out for the experience... plus I owe the guy big time!
 all around after. :)

Did I miss an earlier post at all? Can you clarify where the run is going? It looks like you are meeting at the Limoge (spelling?) UltraMar (I think). I'm not that familiar with the east end, so if Cheney is somewhere else please let me know. As for running Larose, most of the forest is now closed to vehicle traffic (Blue trail only I think is open).
But, if someone who is going knows the forest will be there, I'm in. I'll let your Zuks kick my ****'s ass. :)
SuziCrazy, you in?

Its not in Limoges, its actually in Cheney.
If getting off the 417, at Walkley, turn east on that bridge, keep going straight, you hit a tight curve, go up a hill and back down, pass a railroad track and then your next road to the left before passing under a bridge.
Keep going all the way until you see Cheney, then on your left, there's a big ultramar, we'll be there!
My buddy who lives around said he'd join us, he knows most of the trails as he rides them often in his cherokee. Remember, we're keeping it light as I'm stock myself, so all stock ppl welcome. He said he can show a few of the lifted people some water that we can't go through if you want... :) Probably mirror high as Mudball posted earlier :)
Hope to see you there! :) 4 confirmed now, and my buddy's brother might meet us after work. BTW, I don't have a cb, so anyone who has FRS radios, bring em! I"ll have 2 myself, so I can lend one for the trip, but that's probably be lent to my cousin :)

No one in OVO has been charged with anything as far as I know, maybe they just haven't passed it on to the executive, or the executive hasn't passed it on to the members. Last I heard Larose was accessable, just on the Blue trail which is rather more like a country drive if I remember right.
I will be out on Sunday with the club anyway, so see ya's then.

I think you are getting this confused with the North Hastings group that had 2 people get charged after a weekend of camping. It was mentioned here a few weeks ago, but as far as I know no OVO members have been charged in Larose.

Aww crap Mike. Next time for sure.
Are you gonna finally get a road legal truck for both trails and daily driving??
Can't wait for tomorrow. It's been a while since I hit the trails. :D

Damnit. Looks like I missed you guys. I was in the Zellers lot at 9.13am according to my cell phone. :(
I had problems with my debit card at the gas station.. Dissed by Petro Canada! :bawl:
I would have gone out to k-ville to try and find you guys, but I don't really know that trail. I know Scotch line rd, but I don't know where it enters or exits, etc.
There's always next weekend. :D

Contrary to what you posted, glad to see you met up with us. :) Home at 6:45...on a "stock" trail. yah, stock if you have trucks with 35's and winch's to yank the stockers through. :vio:

What can I say? I had planned nothing else for the day, and I just didn't feel right giving up so easily.
I'm just glad I managed to find the group afterall! :)
Great run for me, but I'm sure the stock boys are going to be thinking twice about trying a trail run with us again, lol. :D

great pics, the trail looks greasy as hell! wish I could've made it, and BTW Wes it looks like I'm gonna have to street legal my samurai after all (well, one of them) my mazda seems to be on the fritz at the moment (I think the turbo is fried as well as some electrical crap but well see) so instead of sinking more money into my rustbucket mazda I oughta just put together a sammi!
Twinkie
October 19th, 2004, 09:14 PM
Greasy? LoL It went from bad to worse with each truck that passed. And with Richard's heavy **** on the Krawlers trying to yank the last stock truck through, it made an impossible pass for my 33's at that point. Greasy, yah. I had a damn good time! Truck is still covered in mud, maybe tomorrow night I'll find a carwash. I'm no longer allowed in Bells Corners car wash. LoL!

Those heavy ****s seemed to have a lot of trouble getting through that hole...
If everyone hadn't been so tired after the last truck, I would have loved to try taking my sammi through it and back... again. ;)
Y'know.. just to watch the Heep owners cry. :D

Yah, after Richard dug 4 35" deep ruts because of the 3000lb Tracker attached to him it made things a little difficult for the guys following on 33's. I think I could have done it if my diffs weren't sitting on top of the ground whith wheels not touching much.

I was wondering why he was dragging my sorry ass through the second hole! LMAO I was like umm... no? LOL. And then there's me trying to tug him back out...
BTW, sidekick nut, who were you? I'm the guy with that 3000lb green sidekick :P

I know I would have had some serious trouble getting through afterwards. I just like to poke fun at Heepers. :)

I was in disguise, as my sig line says, 90 YJ. The black one, brought up the back of the pack, so yes, I had to try and cross that mess after everyone else had their chance at it.
I started wheeling with a SideKick, actually I went through 3 over the years, then moved on to something with a little more flex. I would have went with a Sami but I needed it to pull double duty as a daily, and after riding in Leadfoot's sami for a day in Paragon, they just are NOT big enough to fit my fat ass in.
