Sidekick Tranny Fluid

Which is better to use for a Sidekick Auto Tranny? I have heard both 75W-90 Gear oil, and Dexron III ATF.

personally, i would never use a 75 wieght oil in any auto , i would be using the ATF dexron III. i think i have hear of people using the ATF in thier 5 spds, but never the other way around. oils and fluids are the blood of your truck or car, so use only what is called for.and in this case is the ATF.
