I just bought a 410 for $100. This thing is for parts only, but what I need to know is what should I keep. The body is crap the rust is the only thing holding it together. It runs w/ no brakes or exhauste but other than that everything seems good. Its a sprung over 5 speed and the motor looks smaller then my sammy so I'm guessing 1L. Basically what should I keep before it gets scrapped.

If i were you i would keep every thing that was re-uasble for my rig. ANd post the rest at cheap price to clear it. There are alot of zook owners always looking for something. I dont think the axels will fit into your 88 they are bit short if i am not mistaken. But thats only a my 2 cents.

Keep the Birfields. The axle shafts won't fit the the birfs will.

5 spd? If its a 5 spd it should be a 1.3l....the 1.0L was a 4 spd.

the t-case is geared lower that the samurai.
its the "baby-lobster" makes up for 31's in high and low. its should also have the drum ebrake on the tcase. sort of hand if you were thinking about rear disks.
