I've been a student of Mechanical Engineering for just over 3 years now. As part of the program I am now working towards getting my Tool and Die diploma. In the course we are learning about how to use AutoCAD, (more specifially Solid Edge V16) to create the parts we will build in industry.

For fun (an cause I can't stop thinking about my truck) I decided to spend some time today designing the bumpers I want to put on my truck. :D

Now the rear, with a rough idea for a tire carrier.

They're a bit rough, and pretty simplistic.. but at least I now have all the dimensions organized for building it later.

I also threw together a 1 1/12"(28mm) wheel spacer design. I'm hoping to get some CNC time during the next month to make a set or two of those up.

Let me know what you think.
