Mudslug if you are thinking of using the bombproof mounts with the Kong i would suggest you don't. Even in the instructions it tells you that it needs the flex of the rubber (stock) mounts to give maximum protection from case and arm breakage. Someone told me or i read somewhere that the stock mounts new can stretch up to 4 inches before ripping:yike

its true... if u use mighty kong... be damn carefull f using bomproof t-case mounts... im running both (home made versions) and all though the case doesnt explode anymore and im not breaking anymore mounts.. i am ripping the mounts mounts right off the frame on all 3 corners... get ready for some serious beefing up if u try that stunt.

that was me fulload...its right in the instruction package that i got when i won the mighty kong last year...as i recall i think you were thinking of doing the same thing....i alomst did it also..i had already ordered my bullet proof mounts from rocky road when i won the kong..i figured i use both..untimate strength but i read the instruction, which i usually toss to the side
