Does anyone remember the guy in the Orange truck that blew his T-case getting to SuziCan last year? I think a few guys didn't get paid for their parts and I want to contact this guy so he came make good his word.

You can PM me any info as required.

Yup, came in late Friday night with a buggered up T-case that Scott , Mike and others spend a good number of hours, parts and a t-case to replace. I think he screwed up a drag link on the trail that was also trail repaired by other people . Then when he got back to camp, he packed it up and left, leaving his garbage, and some pissed off people that were out time , money and parts. This is NOT what SuziCan is about or fourwheeling for that matter. It makes me sick knowing that a handful of people busted their humps to help this guy under my recomendation, and this happens. We have been more than patient, but now its time to call in my cards. If anyone knows him or knows where he lives, please step up.

I remember the truck with the bend drag link on the trail was yellow. The guy walked away with on of my clevases (sp? d-ring) as well. Not too worried they are only a couple bucks at princess auto, i heard that others lost more.

If its the giy with the yellow truck and the yellow shorts let me know i got pic's, not too good but if you see them you would know the guy........if i'm remembering correctly.

mike or scott....pm me your email and i;ll send you the photos.
I dont want to post them if its the wrong guy. If it is him you'll see them posted.............and one of the photo's clearly shows a plate number, maybe you could get and address.

sorry, yes it was yellow. he was camped right out on the road just after you came out of the camping loop. I'm all for posting pics and calling this guy out. It is one thing to have excuses, but this guy didn't even have the descency to make any arangements with Scott or Mike.

yep he had a yellow truck, we spent a good chunk of our sleep time trying to fix him up with a new t-case from scott and mike, I remember going to bed soon after right across the road from where he was parked and the guy even had his brights on all night shining into my tent.

I hope you find out who the guy was, tell him he owes me an hour of sleep!

Yes that's the guy/truck! Please post more info on this guy. It's not about the money/parts, it's the respect or lack of. We went out of our way to help him out and that's the thanks we got... this is NOT what this Zuk community is about! Lend a hand whenever you can and hope that someone is kind enough to do the same when your in need.......

I assume he never registered to run the trails either?

I would have thought you would have the contact info as part of the registration/insurance fee for the weekend, Mud...

Schmuck!!!

Crap like that makes it hard to offer help or parts next time without expecting to get ripped off!!!

Gotta figure out who it is so we can fix this!

We have names and adresses but nothing about the color of the truck. I am not sure if he pre-registered or not, so if people have a clue, post it.

if this helps, I do remember that I was just leaving the tent after registering (I think I was with repete) and he crossed paths with me to register (or so I thought) so he wasn't too far up the registry bill from our names

I think I was truck #47?

Ontario Plates

ATLH 705

Also noticed the sticker on the windsheild, looks to be the right size for the suzican reg. sticker.

I think in 2005 you should use a digicam for photos as people sign in, one head shot should do it and one of the truck if possible.
It might come in handy if someone had an accident too. You know what the guy looks.........like but don't know a name.

Based on the shorts in that picture he must reside in Miami with Crockett and Tubbs in the off-season.

If your a guest you can E-mail me the info White_lake1@netzero.net, Lets stop this kind of BS on the trails, soon people are going to stop helping oters on the trail. Dont let this be a case where a few rune it for everyone, like we seen happen many time before

I know an officer of the law, who is sympathetic towards 4x4 enthusiasts. He had a **** himself for a few years.

If no one comes forward within a week or so, I could have that licence plate number searched. Wouldn't be the first time i've done it either.

My old truck got backed into in a parking lot once, and a witness gave me their plate number. Imagine the bastards shock, when I showed up at their door the next day with my dented truck in their driveway. (drove almost an hour and a half to get there) :D Look on his face was priceless. I wish i could do that moment all over again...

I think after this is resolved, he should be banned from all offroad events. We don't need those kind of people around. I don't think he'll ever show his ugly mug at suzican ever again. And if he does.... :po:, :boom:, and :piss:. :ev:
