what year tcase is this

according to breeze indus they have no idea ... and the gear count is throwing me off ... input is 39 and big output is 57 ... it's supposed to be an 84 i just want to make sure but i try and find another one

thats an 84 and earlier sj410 case "the baby lobster"
that case is a little lower reduction in the high range that the 4:16 cases. it is not the case used to mahe the 4:16 cases but works well to make up for larger tires on the highway. I but one of those in with my 31's i was able to use 5th gear to cruse again.

they came with the sj410's........the ones with the 1.0 liter motor.

Aquick way to tell an 84 t-case it has a 4wd light switch, the middle shaft sticks out through the caseand it has an e-brake on it. The 85 looks the same though, so its hard to tell unless it's still in the sj.:D
