hey mudlite, have we decided on maybe another T-shirt contest for the upcoming suzican? if so this is the thread to post up some art!

maybe something with a few less coulours, The Suzuki Stripe added two colors to the print . Maybe its time to go the ZookPower way and ramp a poor CJ2A :thefinger .

computer design is not one of my strong points, especially when using the generic I-paint program. I say this because it took me about 3 hours so far cleaning up the scanned pencil drawing I did. anyways before I continue I was just wondering if anyone had any other ideas or suggestions. here is what I have so far:

The suggestion i have is to change the tires from the monster mudder, ground hogs to a swamper or a bogger.

I hate ground hogs as much as i do thornturds!

lol, well the safari rack did make it kinda busy, not to mention the extra work it would've taken. I'll change the tires to boggers as well

I'll get more stuff with the logo incorporated with the truck, and should we steer away from the 'army font' theme and try something diff? I'd personally like to keep the signature suzuki 'S' part of the theme

Looking good, but would it be easier to turn a pic into a sketch and then mod. it
Just a suggestion :) this is a poor pic the more detailed the pic the better the sketch

I'd like to keep the Army Font. I have a little surprize this year.


We also need a Sami in there. Maybe have them ramping an old army ****?

for easy cleanup of line art in photoshop, crt-L for levels. click on white eyedropper tool, click on grey area of photo, that tone and anything lighter magically turns to white, saves a ton of time. that's all assuming you want just black and white with no mid tones for t-shirt.

it's been a fairly busy month with my recent move, car breaking down, building a new daily driver, and the airbrushing thing so I haven't got anything so far, let alone by the 15th.

I'm liking muddmachine's pic, I always loved that pic to begin with

You mean the pic of Tony's rig sticking straight in the air. Everyone loves that pick. The only thing you don't see is the sweat running down his forehead as he sat perfectly still without even breathing. That was priceless.

OK, shirts are ordered. We ordered 75 , even though not many have been pre-ordered we will take it in good faith that they will see. I think Tony will cover any short fall.... ;)

I think the pic with that flat green sami all flexed out going up the hill,the suzuki with no box on the back.looks cool as hell and would make a awsome shirt.

All the fawkin cameras I saw and this dude with the megabuck camera that bragged about his camera taking 10 pics per second and holding 10,000 pics and we dont even have a handful of pics between 50 people.

Same thing every year Tony!!! Next year I'm bringing my laptop and people will have to burn them on the spot or loose thier camera.....LOL. I don't think it is much to ask for, and I ask every year. I get one or two people that send them, but come on people!!!!!! I gave up trying to write articles to get them not published so maybe someone else wants to take on that one next year.

btw I sent a disk full or pictures from 2004 and bought a subscription to can 4x4 and waited all year for an article. No luck. There were some awsome pictures on that disk. This year I broke my rig early both days and didn't end up with many pics worth much. Most of them were of me fixing my zook. Not very interesting.


Tony, I got fairly large copies of these pics if you want them emailed. I think big block sami may be working on a design. we'lll have to wait and see

And lastly, frwinks sent me a disc this year but everything on it showed up as DAT files :( Thx frwinks, why it shows DAT files I dont know but the effort was greatly appreciated.

So who is the guy with the pro camera??? Can I get a hold of this guy? Was he MudPigs buddy???

Yes he was and i think that two copieas were made and ready to be shipped. I will break his balls tomorrow before i go out of townfor the week to see what happened with em.
