transfer case problem

:shame: it's stuck at 4hi, i can shift it to 4lo, but not 2hi....what do you guys think? :pray:

btw, it's an all orig 410 tranny

The little nylon piece at the top is worn out. Pull out the shifter and reset it with a screwdriver it the right position and leave it there until you get the piece replaced.

Im thinking bent shifter fork... try mudslugs idea.. put it in 4wd hi.. remove shifter.. try to move 2wd fork by screwdriver (when in the drivers seat looking down, its the fork on the RIGHT side).. it should slide down - towards the rear of the vehicle. If u very very slowly move the vehicle while u try to shift with ur front hubs unlocked it should help take off any load on the coupler while u try to shift it.
