have a chance to get a toyota fr. am running 5:13,s .....how close of a ratio can i get or do i need to change both r&p,s

your ratio shold be close enough for dirt use but as soon as you get that front toy axle and stop breaking part youll want gigger tires and so on and so forth. so put the toy front in till you find a good enough and cheap enough rear cause they are the shite.youll need new rims tho. every thing else isn't that big of a problem. good luck

Doesnt look like a 5.13 is available for the toy diff... 5.29 is the closest your gonna get. If ya wanna go the other way, the 4.56 and 33's is supposed to be the exact match to stock. This is available but either way you look at it you'll need a gearset. I wouldnt advise running different gears even if they are close.
