hour and a half north of north bay off highway 11 in englehart ... last of the northern mud bogs left ... 2 day event saturday and sunday ... 35 bucks if memory recalls ... dif classes ... under 33" over 34" to 40 i think and 40 and over and then then buggies and open mods ... two pits ... cement bottom and open bottom ...

plan to be entering the tintop and pinto/bronco and possibly a unimog

this is supposed to be a huge event

for anyone who cares ....

my truck is sadly underpowered ... the stock gears are are not cutting it ... here is what is bringing this on

went to the mud bogs ... got to make two runs in my class ... 30 - 34 inch tires ... i was shooting for 25 feet ... this was some deep ass mud ... this was like cement too ... anyways .... i'm goin up against trucks that where running in the open class and the 44" and bigger class but for this run on small tires ... now while they on the first runs where getting 50 feet and i got 30 feet 6 inches ... i was pretty happy but man i was rough on the skinny go fast pedal and the fat outside pedal ... anyways about what felt like 6 hours i made my second run again against these crazy ass fords chevs and dodges ... all sporting atleast 400 to 500 horse or more ... one of these trucks went on to post one of the only full runs with 44's on ... anyways ... my second run was 53 feet 8 inches ... and let me tell u the clutch was smoking like nothing i've seen before ... i was all over it keeping the revs up ... but by this time those other trucks where goin 90 feet for the most part ... there was only 3 trucks i beat a full size bronco, a cherokee and a sidekick ... in my class ... i did go farther then a few trucks in the 34 to 40 inch class but not by much .... anyways .... gears and and engine swap are in the works for this week and next year i will do a bit better ... good thing was sitting between the long ass wait i met a few other zuk drivers that had only brought their big trucks ... and i might have found the 84 tcase i need ... gonna swap a 4speed tranny for it ... anyways .... that's all i can think of for now ... gotta get something bigger ....
