your dream zook

i no what i think is the ultimate zook but what does every body else think that the ultimate would be made of. i thought about it for a while before i built mine and now i still want to improve it but it seems to work good with the 97" wheel base and auto with dual cases, but i need a little more power and i think that is the ultimate zook in my eyes. what do you think?

Whats the ultimate zook ? Dude thats a big big question. But yes for the most part, more power and you couldnt ask for much more out of your rig. ......... well....... maybe 37's. :D

Yup i think 37" boggers with bobby lonfield birfields and axles with a 1.6 16valve and of course a 4-1 or a 6-1 sumo case in the second zuk case. and maybe a couple more inches on the wheelbase would not hurt either. Just my two cents worth.

i agree with everything cept for the wheelbase.. sure stretch it out a bit.. but lets not go crazy.. otherwise go to a full size pos.. what do u want to do? rock? mudd? the stuff on the other side of that cliff?

i watched muddmachies open diff rig rock over some rock climbs and steep inclines where us short bases boys fell short but i've also seen some frame hang ups and some stuckiness where the shorties didnt get hit.

there is no ultimate.. its what ur after... Im a mudd man myself... i dont want the wheelbase, i want the brute strength and power in a tight compact form.. think im pretty fargin close so i would go out and say i think i have MY ultimate zuk right now - pretty darn close.. maybe add a handbrake in and rear disk.. small shit. but no locker in the front.. can barely get dirty then :boot:

Full Custom Drive Shafts
40" plus tires, either rock crawlers or Boggers.
Full Custom Coil Overs
Snorkel
Orange and blue Camo Paint
Removeable roof and doors
Warn 8274 up front, and Warn 9500i in the rear.
Pickup bed extended in the center so that I have bottom Storage area.

(Some of this may eventually come to the blue pickup truck I have... My Dream) I wish I had more time and money...

ya the mog axles would be really cool but i have too much $$$ into mine now, but another rig in plans already.

I would definately stci with the V6 auto and add the d300 with 4:1 twin stick. I would run ARB front a rear with full floater terra 60's and disc brakes. Hydro assit mininum, full hydro an option and possibly rear stear. ( but then its more work to drive and less time to enjoy) as far as body goes, maybe just a hood. tires would be what ever is the softest compound available.
