I believe i have the SJ410 t-case (has the park brake drum on it)on my samurai. Is it lower geared then the SJ413?
Or is there a way to check to see if i have a differant ratio then a standard samurai t-case?
Thanks

not necessarily, it may be an 85' which has the sammy gear ratio. what is the year of the samurai? 84's and 85's are identical except for the gears inside. 83' minus have smaller input and front output shaft splines and the case has large bearing mould because the bearings sit right in the wall of the t-case, that the flanges slide on. could also be any year samurai case woth an e-brake added on. if it's an sj410 case it's 13% lower in high gear and 10% lower in low gear.
here's a link to lots more info on slowzuki's site- http://moose.ca/~slowzuki/slowzuki/tech_info/suzuki_t-cases/

I’m also running a samurai case because the shifter on the 83' 410 t-case decided to stop wanting to move while the truck sat for a few months. Is a sticky shifter a common problem, are they hard to fix? And is one of the cases tougher then the other. Its in my 4.3 V6 buggy.
