I just picked her up today, so it will be a couple weeks before it is up and going again.
She is a 1999 Dakota Sport 4X4 with Ice cold A/C(always a plus), 318 V-8, 5-Speed and Limited Slip rear. I had it out with both rears almost flat and she can roast the tires off it, should have seen the smoke show. I will toss a few pics on here of her as I get her and when she is Moblie I will post some finished shots.

She should be fun to drive. I have already told my buddy I will tow his T/A to the track with it this Fall and get a shot of it towing the car in, then Line up against him at the tree and go!

I have a 2002 dakota 4 door that tows my 1800 lb trailer and heavy 4 door kick.
It does it pretty good but i am very nice to it as it is only a 1/4 ton. Beef up the rear springs or Air bag it and enjoy. Mine has been trouble free for three years now.

I had thought about the Air Bags, I will see how it does with the Sammy on the back, but might end up going that route.

did you pay someone to do the body work? Or did you do?
If you had to pay what did it run you?
Oh and with the 5.2 i think you'd be lucky to break into the 15s:D

I paid a body shop that we work with to do it and I cannot get into that. As for the 15's, we will see, I know I made short work of a FS Hemi with it on the way over for the allignment, so I am not too worried about speed. So much for the Mighty Hemi's.

No worries, I am impressed with it for a truck, and I will get some times on it come spring at Cayuga.
