i have noticed after running greens, my rear driveshaft is binding at full drop ....the yoke and shaft have touched and toasted the upper u-joint. has anyone used the driveshaft super store ? they have a long spline double carden shaft that has bigger u-joints in it...about $375 usd:yike :yike :yike

i run custom drive shafts... bout 7 or 8 inches of slip spline.. toy u-joints, with toy ends on em. the toy bolt pattern i so damn close to the 88.5 and up zuuks that no drilling is necessary but the center hole on toys is larger... i wound up having my output flanges on my t-case machine out a slice to accomodate this larger center hole - it is only a few thou. i have toy axels so duh.. they fit nice in the pumpings :P
i have to say, im extremely happy with em.. have yet to snap a joint (knocking on wood).. theyre big and beefy and tough as nails... and these are the cross drilled greasable ones.
they cost me bout 350 a pop canadian cash..
i've talked to 2 other drive shaft places and they would match the price for the product no problem... sav me the drive to scarborough if i ever need another...
oh yah.. my tubes are also 3 inches now.. beefy :)
email me if u want any more info

i also run toy joints but by luck a front shaft bolts right in place of the rear shaft and then i made the front in my garage out of 3" tubing with .25" wall seems to be excellent!

Just use rock rat adapters and bolt the damn things in. I think they are $40.00 usd each and i think you get a savings if you buy the pair. When i do my toyo axles thats what i'll do.

Ok So heres the real Deal Toy CV end is physically larger then a 86-88.5 flange So there is no way you can clock and drill. It can be done on a 88.5 up with tthe larger flange if you clearence the center to miss the head of the output flange Nut. The pinion sides of a Toy shaft will fit all years if you clock BUT you have to use a spacer or clearence for the nut and then you are still just getting very little meat on the Bolt. can it b edone Yes can it be a Pain in the ass Yes, a litle more fact newer zuk flanges and the 84-85 Toy flange have the exact same pattern (ie) Toy only pinion side,, CV side on all Toys are different pattern also the the centering ring on the Toy is larger then the recess of the zuk flange by .040ths so you have to have the flange machined to fit, Now not to blow my own horn or step on anyones toes Yes I have adapters that let you bolt the Toy cv in to the rear of your small flange zuk. They can be used on the large flange also as long as you drill the small pattern in to it. heres a pic of one installed,
