1.3L in an SJ?

I have a 1.3L and a 5 speed that I would like to transplant into my SJ. I expect that some of you guys out there have alreaady done this and just looking for some advise. thanks

Whut he's trying to say is its usually customary for new members to goto the selected section and post a new member msg, and then adding further threads after that regarding questions and/or comments. It is done to try and provoke a close knit community rather then some people only logging on here for the simple reason they're stuck on a build and need advice or wish to pimp thier shit in the for sale sections.

That being said, welcome to zookpower and yes it is a common swap, many on here can and will help under the correct circumstances.

I did it, its a good swap. A 1.6 would be much better but if ya want to go 1.3 here is the deal.

The wiring is basically all the same, plug and play to a point. The small stuff will piss ya off. The Engine mounts are different, you will need to move them around so be ready for that. They are not even close on either side so see if you can get the mounts out of the donor zook....if not make em.

The tranny mounts are close enough to fake, I did.

The exhaust well....ya gotta make nice with that too.

Would I do it again....hell ya
