Can the 1.3 efi set up dish out enough fuel to make a 1.6 block run right? I'd hate to lean it out.

You are going to use the 1.3 intake and head on top of just the 1.6 block? or are you bolting the 1.3 intake on the head and block of the 1.6? Give us some more details on what you want to do.

ohh my bad, well i would like to just bolt the 1.3 intake to the 1.6 block. I will most likly be gettin a header later on so that not a big deal.

Yes that will work fine. That's how mine is setup, 1.6L block and head with the 1.3L EFI intake bolted to it. Ran fine for years now.

Dxray is a 1990 fuelie so he has the inline tank already. Why do you not expirement a bit dxray. I have been thinking this over for a while and see no real problems yet.
Take the whole 1.6 motor (head and intake included) and bolt it in. Change all the sensors ( really just the MAP sensor off the firewall) all the other sensors are on the 1.6 intake manifold. plug/splice the connections into the harness. Also use the 1.6 ecm, beacuase i know that it plugs right in. Wires are just wires and have no bearing on what signals that are sent to the ecm.
Hope this intrigues your initative a bit because i think it may work.
If i had a 1.6 motor i would give it a shot. But my 1.3 is mint right now!!!

I hope someone can prove me wrong on this or tell me i have overlooked something!!!!

I know mine needs valve seals and to do it i would need to pull the head and then buy a head gasket. So i'm thinkin of instead of puttin money in this lil thing i would get a 1.6 block and get more power. And i once tried to take out my ECM and it wont come out, screws are too tight and can't fit a grinder in there or anything to take em off, so i'm stuck with the 1.3 ecm. So thats why i was wonderin if the fuel system from the 1.3 can dish out enough fuel to fully power up a 1.6 block. I'm hate to have it all set up and it wont run properly because of lack of fuel or worst lean it out on the highway.

I have been reading alot on other boards on this similar thing. There has been no lean fuel complaints from the 1.3 to the 1.6 conversion. The stock 1.3 fuel pump puts out enugh pressure to fuel the 1.6
We all know how important fuel delivery is to Depot right. He is running a 1.6 8 valve pump to power his 16 valve with no trouble. I am pretty sure that mutiport would need more pressure than the throttle body of a 1.6 8 valve. No problems with his truck yet!!!!
To solve the rusty screws sympton you simply take a pair of tin snips and cut the bracket off. I am so glad that you could not get the grinder in there. Just think what one piece of grinder dust would do between two contacts of a capasiter or resistor zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzttttttttt. Fried ecm. Or you leave the damn thing there. I know i can unplug mine with it still attached to the firewall. Then you just duck tape or zip tie the kik ecm to the 1.3
Save your self the $100.00 head gasket and bolt the whole 1.6 in.

again. dont quote me on this as my info is rumour mill based...

the 93 did come with a 1.6 16 valve but it had some heat problems they never resolved... if ur looking for a 1.6 16 stay away from the 93's from what i heard.... unless ur getting an 8 valve.. then have fun

my rumour mill regurgitation for the nite

Hey Dxray, if you only use the 1.3 intake you could port match it to increase the flow, just dont get carried away.

Ya that was in the plan. But after my lil shorting problem i somehow realized how easy changing the wireing harness is. I understand the system now, well most of it. I think i will try and go with a 1.6 16v. But i would need the whole donor vehicule so i can take the harness out and learn how it's all hooked up. It will happen someday. Damn college drained my piggy bank. 202$ for a damn Parking pass. Like that could of bought me alot of sammi shnitz.:bang:

motor mounts...

one side takes a 1.4 inch spacre on the top 2 bolts to angle it down a tad. the other one is a bit trickier.. needs to be shifted over a tad.. not that had but unless u have a mount in front of its a pain to fab... I think Fullload has a diagram for that one.. give him a shout

different idea for motor mounts .. talk is 71 or 72 dodge powerwagon motor mounts ... no need to move anything ... i'm gonna be trying this one first before relocating anything
