I was originally gonna go with an IFS toyota PS box with a kick pump but for some reason just can't find my pump!

I gotta few cars and trucks with serpentine pulleypumps sitting in the write-off yard @ work to pick off. so I thought I'd ask what pumps would work well with a 1.6 and IFS toy PS box. I have mostly ford windstars and focuses and a fullsize chev truck and ford contour to pick off of right now. would any of these be sufficient? any other recommendations or info to help build up the forum topic?

hey whats up?? well i used a (sagina)pump from a heep,i removed the res, threaded on a fitting, fabbed a bracket and bolted er on,expert hose next door made me a high pressure line cheap.now that pushes the toy box to the max, werks mint,i also grabed a res from a international big rig, holdsover a litre of fluid and has a replaceable filtre on the inside!! also keeps her cooler. i never had a weak steering problem ever again!:)

Go with the fullsize Chev pickup pumps. They'll work well with the IFS box. It's hard to beat the saginaw pumps.

As far as as the Ford pumps, all I've ever read about them is that they are junk.
