Hey y'all,
I've been hearing alot about this Hyundia Pony carb conversion. What size motor does it come off of and is it worth it?Is it a complete bolt on or no?Does anyone know if it will fit on my '89 Samurai(stock 1.3L)? If so, let me know...........Thanx.:D

I did the conversion....very very easy, just go to your local wreckers where apparently those pony's do belong, doesn't matter the year and look for the most pretty one you can find(meaning one that looks in good working order), along with the manual choke cable and knob, in total it cost me $40. Then rip off the stock carb on your zuk (usless pos), and port the openings to match the pony carb (bigger flaps), then run your fuel lines, and hook up the choke....or to make it real easy on yourself, check out izook.com and you will find detailed instructions on how to do it...good luck and yes the swap was worth it (least for me it was)

I've been to pony land and returned, you'll see links to my swap in a few places on the web. It is a good temp soln, but find someone who rebuilds suzuki aisin carbs and you will love it! The original suzuki aisin is an excellent off-roading carb, any angle and it will supply fuel. THe pony just can't do that for you.
