I don't want to harm the environment any more than they do but they are being pretty ignorant. I wonder how much fuel and oil would need to spill out of my truck during the 30 seconds it takes me to cross the stream/creek to kill as many fish as these self professed enviromentalists pull from the lake in a day's fishing? Moreover, what do they think happens to the fluids that leak from vehicles onto roadways when it rains? Their own vehicles are no less at fault than anybody elses. How about the fact that nearly every outboard ever made exhausts into the water? And I'm sure they never overprimed their motors on those cold mornings, allowing a thin film of gasoline to float around the rear of the boat?! The very fact that they are fishing, regardless of how they do it or how they got there, is enviromentally destructive! Let he who is without sin cast the first stone!

the end of offroading as we know it is near. at work i'm on a crew clearing the hydro lines here in New Brunswick, and as of late, we're not allowed to make any track more than 10" deep! on the powerlines with humungous skidders with 68" tires! i asked DNR once what would happen if i got stuck in my truck on the powerline and they came along and saw me and he said i could be fined thousands of dollars! i think they need to step back and see the big picture here, there's 7 billion people wrecking the earth as we speak, to say this is a drop in the bucket is an extreme understatement. Wetlands are constantly being dozed over to put up apartment complexes and millions of acres of forest are being raped daily as they spill their oil all over the place!, just let us live our fuk'n lives before there is no nature left to explore. :rant: so IMO, these fisher fukers can go jump in their huge gas guzzling trucks and SUV's and tow their boats up their own asses.
