Hmmm, no. That is a 4 piston set up, I am thinking 300z or Toyo.

Then again it does look a wee bit big for those but....

Yes, it is 6 lug and I do believe SOME chev's came with 4 piston calipers. Thats why I assumed it was chev junk.

Thats why I thought Toyo.....then again just about any caliper wil go on just about any rotor....you only have to worry about the width.

Could be anything...

So would I be correct to assume that this would be the forward rear axle in a deuce and a half ? Therefore having somewhere to mount the brake ?

Yes, from what I gather the toploader style Rockwells have a two pinions (for lack of a better term) so you can stack as many as you want together. For the duece and a halfs they run a small shaft between the two rear axles for drive on both.

The pinion break was developed because Rockwells are drum axles and removing the drum set up takes like 100lbs of the axle (I do not know the actual number). There are disk set ups for the rockwells now but the pinion brake looks way cool.

Why, you going rockwell? Do you know where any are sitting?? Come on...spill it!!
