lj80 distrutor cap.

Hello, I was having trouble finding tune-up parts at are local part stores nobody seems to have any listings for a 79 lj80. my brother has an 81 lj80 that is identical to mine he found crappytire had a listing there. so anyway I go there and just get parts for and 81 then I run into a guy with a 81sj410 his engine is all different than mine its the big 1L I notice is distributor cap is like the one I just got from crappytire but he has electonic ign. I have points. Does anyone know if these caps are interchangable they look the same to me? what about rotor as well it fits on but is it right and will it work?:question: :question:

79 to 81 would be no different at all, they were all 797 cc motors, the 1.0L is a lil different, there is more specific info at www.lj10.com with some listings for interchangable parts in the suzuki line for LJ's

put the stuff on today seemed to run, plug wires a little long but will work. Also just finished mounting my dual lj transfer cases in now just to modify drivelines and we should be mobile.
