i may end up going out to my grandparents palce just norht of barrie around midland, i know of some fun palces there that are pretty tame but full of water and mud, 2hour drive but at least i know how to get here so getting lost isn;t an issue :D , hmm
thats if i can get insurance and plates before the weekend

Getting lost will be the least of your worriwes if you go by your self. Espically with a truck that you barely know it's problems and capabilities!!!!

i agree with Fullload ,dont go out by yourself. Even if you feel confident in your rig and your capabilities. murphy, s llaw dictates that you will run into some sort of problem. I can tell you from experiance walking out of the bush at night is not much fun,and then theres the hassle of talking someone into going in and getting your rig back out. Go with two at least one of you will be able to drive out.
