hairy is not the word for this trail!!!!! a few off camber spots?????
This trail is not for the meek!!!!!! try running it in the rain!!! WE showed up at the trail head and couldnt even make it up the 1st hill....decided to walk up and take a look, some places you have to grab onto trees to just to stand up! we found a nother way in,takes you up by the old fire tower, its a steep hill all the way to the top .Once there you drop down either a windy tecnical trail or you can go down about 50 feet of 30-40 degree hill,no thanks. when yuo get to the bottum thers a tricky boulder section, then you start back up the hill.No prblem except part way up you make a 90 degree right the 90 left and youre at two steps granpa ,pretty exciting for a sami, aperently at one point i had all four wheels in the air..time for the winch When you clear that hill you have two choices, up 50 ' of slick rock and wet leaves or back up through the s turn which is alot easier goin down than up...more winching although a cherokee did get up through.

This trail is equal to if not better than Greens, mostly because very few trees have been cut and the lay of the land . You really dont have many choices when it comes to picking a line and there was a bit of paint left on some trees

do not try this trail unless you are prepared for some body damage, have at least one locker and you own a winch.

we will go back to run the 1st part when it dries up,had a great day with the guys from NHFWD club as well as two brothers and thir cherokee from peterborough!

p.s double the length of pinion pass and just as nasty and thats the 1st part:yike :yike :yike :yike :yike

just a bit of advice, we took three rigs in. We got there at 2:00 p.m and got out at close to 6:p.m. That was less than half the actual trail and the 1st part is worse than the section we ran!
Body damage is a sure thing on the sidehill turn and we did find a few pieces off trucks on our walk.

i would not go in with more than 4 or 5 trucks unless you start real early. Also walk the trail first so you know what you,re up against, there is some nasty stuff .
