1.6 8V engine swap

Ok here's what's going on....
I have a 1.6 sitting in my truck right now... bolted up and everything... only one problem... i am going to run the fuel injection.... the computers plug in and i've traced the wires to see if they are the same b/w the efi sammy and the efi tracker.. for the most part they are. There are a few extra wires in the samurai harness where the cpu plugs in since the efi samurai has a different distributor setup. But i have been running a tracker distributor and coil ever since my samurai computer f*cked up. Now that i have the tracker engine in, the coil sends fire to the distributor, but the distributor doesn't send fire to the spark plugs. and to boot there is no fuel coming out of the injector.
If anyone has any tips to give me... please reply, thanks:bang: :confused:

1- wrong forum - but im sure the admin will move it whenever they get online - next time try the samurai form of trakcer or general.

2 - is puter good? no fuel no fire sounds like puter not working

3 - u sure bout the wiring - i know the colours are real close for most of the stuff but there are quite a few little differences between sam and kick efi's that makes mixing em up pretty tough. u can NOT put a sammy puter in a kick and vice versa - jsut wont work

i would lay the kick harness in and wire that up temporary at least to see if thats ur problem - thats where I'll put my $$

all u have to wire in is the ignition switch, power and relays and clutch safety switch to temp it in

clutch safety switch - same as sammy, jsut plug it in or jump it.

Ignition- kick has 6 or more depending on year.. power, acc1 acc2, ON, start, bulb test (not sure which years have what) its not hard to figure how to jump it (unless of course u have a kick ignition to just plug in.

I can get u details schematics if u want but not till mon or tues.

Check your grounds first. Computer is for fuel system, you should be getting spark even if the computer is shot.
