roasted my clutch on forest loop, my pedal had been steadily getting stiffer . when i pulled the trans out & looked at the hub the throw out bearing rides on i noticed that it had worn and the bearing was actually hanging up on the lip.Never seen this before ,throw out was still good just didnt move freely. i had another scrap trans so i pulled the hub/cover off it .wondering if anyone else has run into this?

nope! guess im lucky... I blow the tranny's sky high long b4 i get to wear out any bearings! :eek: :eek:

Yep, one of the members here "Scott" roasted his clutch and the same thing happened to him....he even broke his pressure plate too...big honking crack!!

I broke a few fingers off the pressure plate.....still made it home tho.:)

I've seen this happen a few time although never happend to me personally?!?
