My sj410 sits low on the passenger front corner, meaning that i've got way more room between the fender and the tire on the drivers side than the passengers side.If any of you fellow zookers from Oshawa could take a look at it and give me some advice,I would really appreciate it. I dont see anything obvious wrong, like flat springs, but maybe i'm wrong.....I dont know much about repairing, just driving and abuse(maintenence....whats that?):o :o

Could be a weak spring or even a soft body mount .Might even be a broken spring at the perch, kinda hard to see without pulling the wheel or crawling under.

ive got lots of spring packs if you need

my bet is springs. take a long straight stick - put it from eye center to eye center on each spring pack and measure ur arch (from the stick to the u-bolt plate)- do it to all 4 to see where the problem lies - not jsut the front.

while ur doing that, chek ur perches - make sure none of them collapsed from all that asbusive wheeling u've done lately :boot: then body mounts and frame mounts for obvious damage.

I've had the spring perch in the rear axle collapse into the housing before as well. Not much fun at all. It will make it sag.
Check the angle of the tire as well. If it looks like it is leaning into the truck then you may have bent the whole knuckle at the housing. That is a weak link in the housings on the front. Some people weld it to give it a bit more beef.

Vanbdan, are you saying your SJ is actually mobile ???

yeah,it's been mobile for awhile now,but it's hurtin'. Leans to one side, there's a bad shimmy at certain speeds,I've got a temporary plug in the rear diff filler hole, because the threads are fawked
Just need more time,and parts............
made some progress, got some wiring bugs out of the way.,and my daughter thinks its cool to cruise with no doors(it was too cool for that today thou). Might go from Raglan pit to Beudley next weekend with some Oshawa locals.By the way mud,i finnally got some pics of it,and as soon as i can figure out how to unzip them, ill post them, unless you can,or anybody else.
