i got a set of 2 7"x4" rectangualar IPF halogen lights for free. I thought that i might aswell mount them somewhere on the samurai. I have a stock front bumper and was thinking of mounting them just on the inside of the stock headlight. Would this be an ideal spot? or is there somewhere better to mount them. thanks alot -Joel

there is a good reason to build a bumper for the front of your zuk.you probly wont like them on the roof.

I dunno if sammy bumpers are the same as a kick, but my stock bumpers were all channeled with metal and impossible to mount anything to. I recently made front & rear bumpers out of 4" steel square tubing... bloody things weigh like 100lbs each.

if you want to go tube get some pipe not too thick wall take it to a local exhaust shop get the ends bent about 10 degrees find a push bumper of an 80's ranger weld it to the bumper fits nice, just the rite width between the head lights and wide enough for a winch.

i have 2x4 square tube for my front bumper, a buddy of mine is a pipe fitter and makes some nice bumpers out of sch80 steel pipe, he pressure tests them to 500 psi and puts an air hose fitting in it to inflate tires.

sounds kinda scary having a pressurized front bumper i don't think i will trust my welding to do it
