I put in 88 Honda CRX Si seats into my samurai on the weekend
The passanger seat rear two bolt holes ont he honda seat line up with the susuki 2 bolt holes. The front 2 do not line up and i just welded it right to the susuki rail. It still moves back and forth so the rear seat is somewhat accesable.

The driver side, i bent the tabs on the rail, that stop it from going all the way back, out of the way. I then pushed the slider as far back as it would go. i sat the new honda seat on the rails where i wanted it, and sat in it while my friend welded it in place. We also welded the rails so they don;t slide anymore.
You can see in the pic how much further back the drivers seat is.

EVERYONE SHOULD DO THIS it is so much more comfortable, especially if you are around 6ft. oh the room, oh the comfort :D

oh ya incase you are wondering, these seat will run you $90 for ones with no hole in the headrest to about $300 for MINT ones like mine. These cost me $160 becuase of a small rip in the drivers side support. best $160 i ever spent :)

Looks good. But i will stick with the recaro that i put in my zook. Now all i have to do is get a civic si passasanger seat for the polish princess.

I have no idea what model it is:D All i know is that i pulled it out of a nissan P/U that was about to be crushed at the last "all you can carry" parts days at the wreckers. We will just have to go wheeling together so that you can tell me when you see it thats all.

I wonder if anoyne makes the water proof covers for them like they do for **** seats :D

Think about this one Zc911. Rainy day and you have the top off. oh well good thing that you have the wet okole seat covers . just wipe off the rain and away you go.
What happens one day when you are at greens and hit the swamp and all the water goes from the bottom of the seat and soakes it's way through??? will the seat cover still repel the water from the bottom side up???
Ok you figure you will get a tug out and manage to get out of the truck fast enough as not to get your ass wet. Smart move you say HA HA dry ass, but i do not know about others but i am sure as hell not going to pull another zook outta the mud unless the stuck vehicle has a driver contributing to the effort as well.
Bottom line your ass is getting wet. Thats the easy part. I do not like when it all dries later and you get sand around your dangling Kahuna's
I just sat on my rain jacket for the rest of the day.

Sarge... remember Suzican? No matter what seats were in the truck, I would have had a wet ass.... I was deep enough that my ass was under water... plus, to get unstuck, if you get stuck, it is your duty to move your booty.... get in the water / mud, and hook up tow straps, and then take them / throw them to the towing vehicle... so, like fulload says, you're gonna get wet anyways...
The only thing that bothers me is the possibility of leaches... and I was checking after I was stuck...

just noticed... maybe my ass was wet cause of waves... or cause when I got out... anyways my point is ass is gonna get wet if you're in deep mud and you get stuck... or if you are in water and are deep enough...
