Clutch Question

I know this might sound stupid but I don't have much experience with clutches. My clutch only engages when my clutch pedal is about 3/4's out. I was just wondering why this is? Do i adjust it? if so, how and where? Do i need a new clutch? Help please and thanks.

Try the adjustment first...behind the left front wheel on the engine block.. just follow the cable...to adjust the pedal closer to the floor, move the nuts towards the front of the rig...clockwise... make sure you lock the adjuster to the bracket when you're done or it WILL slide out and your pedal will be on the floor ..(personal experience)
