body lift

How high of a body lift can i go before i can no longer use the stock body bolts? 1"? 1.5"?

Also - how much body lift do i need to clear the 1.6L 16V engine i installed? Hood closes, but doesn't latch fully - just barely grabs and there is a 3/4" gap around the front of the hood.

I used a 1" lift on my sammy and the hood clears fine but not by much.

were you able to reuse the stock body mount bolts?

I'm 90% sure I put longer bolts in but I also put in new body mount rubbers in at the same time.
