I picked up a good used windshield frame but the motor and hardware inside the frame is shot .my old frame has good wardware ,and the wiper arms have a 10mm nut holding them on ,I got it all apart no problem but on the other frame there are no nuts holding the arms on .How the hell do these things come off ? I've been at it for an hour !!!!:bang:

a little trick, the window guys do, is use a light butane torch, or propane torch, a little heat on the wiper arm, around the stud, then give it a tap.should come off no prob.

There are two different styles of wiper arms. Some have the 10mm nut on top, the others have a set screw in the side that holds against the post.

i do believe that they switched from the set screw to nut in 88 1\2.. if heat dont work a small puller like a batery post puller sometimes work just keep the nut on so you dont bugger it up when hitting it
