Okay guys, I'm too lazy and have no time for a seach on this subject, so I wanted to know if anyone has experience with the RR 6:1 or 8:1 t-case gears.......I'm considering getting the ridiculous 8:1 complete t-case....sumpin like $1300 US........(with core of course). Lemmie know whatcha think.....these guys sell good shite, are they good to deal with, etc, etc.....
Thanks,

well the 6.5:1 is what Raffy, joe and I are using to date.I have been using mine for going on three years with no probs, mind u i dont beat on it depot style!! I do know first hand that the 8:1 takes way to much material from the case to install, what i mean is you have to do a lot of die grinding to make them fit, these cases are thin enough.the 6.5:1 only needs very little at times pending what donor case u use it seems.still really easy to install and i recomend the kong with big:D :D for keeping it alltogether and preventing it from being smashed to bits.huh wile u are there..those gorilla grips are way sweet and simple.they prevent any side to side flex when u are feeding it the juice!! i dont think u will ever regret it once u try it once!!
i have not had to give back any cores for a long time now, think that was just from before??

Thanks guys for the info, I'm checking out Trail Tough right now, don't ya mean the 6.4:1 gears?
I would order the complete case.......I'm not into ripping t-cases apart.......cripes, the 4:1 I got in the truck right now cost me about $800 to build as it was, getting someone to split the cases, chop/weld the gears and put the case together.....damn thing leaks at the seam.....anyways, I would rather pay to have the case come ready to drop in straight from the manufacturer.

P.S. keep the advice/info coming.....

I think you can now get custom sammy housings as well for the case... might be an idea... or go dual tcases and keep that 4:1... fix the seal...
