I got the old fenders off on the week-end. Now to clean it up and paint everything with por-15. The floor looks good but will still paint it with por 15, then coat it with a box liner material.

Excellent, you'll be ready for some wheeling in the spring looks like. Where do you tend to go around here? West to the mountains?

I would like to change my 1.3 and 5 speed to a 1.6 with and automatic. I know the 1.6 will fit but not sure if the auto will hook up to the transfer case.
Any information would be appreciated.

ANTHOny---if I wanted too I would hook it up to a chicken sandwhich. I was just try to get some info from anyone who may have done the swap. I have restored 2 vehicles. Put a jag V12 into a friends bucket T and took a 27 studebaker and stretched it 55 inches and widened it 6 inches to make a limo. So I am sure I could do what you suggested.
