Samurai Dist

I have two Carbed Sammy Dist's (two wire pigtail) Here on the bench, and I dont know wether they were functioning or not. Is there a way to test them?
What do the two wires go to?
I know that I can bench test GM wide caps with a 12v batt, vice and two alligator leads.

Can I do something similar with the sammy Dist???

Alternatively, If someone could tell me what color wires go to the + and - side of the coil, that would be great too. (carbed zook)

brown with the white stripe is your power and the black is your ground.

Ive got a brown wire and a Black wire with a white stripe:huh:

Ok, solid brown is your power. All black wires in a sammy/kick harnesses are black for ground. ( with or with out the white stripes.)
