reach under the dash, just to the rite of the steering column is a cheap lil slide toggle switch, turn it off, BOOM no check engine light

Im truly amazed and humbled at the wealth of knowledge of some of the longterm guys here and willingness to help all on this site.

according to my chilton's manual...for a 1991 1.3 L TFI, the 12 code (one flash then pause and then two flashes) is the normal diagnosis code. Apparently means that there is nothing wrong according to your ECM...

Means everythings ok. Also means you have a fuse or jumper plugged into the diagnostic port on the fuse block. Pull it out and the light will go out.

hmmmmm, welll I will start going thru the list, u realize I type with my nose and only 2 toes ehhhhhh !!!!,

anthony i left that fuse in there so i could tell if there was something wrong with the motor EX: sensors and stuff like that... lol ya there is a code for no trouble...
