Have a 1.6 in my Zuk with a tracker fuel pump in the tank. My problem is that when I get at half a tank I run out of gas. It didn't always do this , started about 4 weeks after I replaced the fuel pump. Anyone have any guesses before I check inside the tank to see what may be going on??

replace all the connecting hoses in the tank, use new hose clamps too .. one of the joints isn't fitting tight enough and it's sucking air when you get down to 1/2

you can also check and see if the tank is empty or half full when this happens its also possable that the gauge is screwy mine runs empty till is almost out of gas then starts to move up. its a ground problem for me.

Sending unit, in my tracker the problem was a broken wire at the dash end.

Sidekick fuel pump senders are shorter than sami units. When the fuel level gets below 1/4 tank, you'l run out of gas going around a corner fast or off camber.
