I am also considering the OME springs, thanks for askin the question, cause I was wonderin the same, anybody, anybody ?????
I went to National 4WD and they wanted about 1k for new springs four corners and shocks, I think included steering stab + labour
I think that is what I was quoted.
they told me about 1" above stock.
It either OME or a YJ coversion with maybe those revolver shackles still planning

go fer the YJ conversion... ome springs are nice and all but if u beat on em.. they'll wrap jsut as fas as stockers.. yj's u can get a cushy ride with tons of flex and still strong.

Thats just the insight I was lookin for, Thanks Depot,
Do any adjustments need to be made to account for extra weight -
bumpers, winches, diesel engine instead of stock etc etc.. ??????
I sorta like the cusshy comment, I like to think Im a pretty rugged individual (heheheh, snicker and all)
but it would be nice to keep the fillins in the teeth, so a little cush is good as long as it trail worthy.

well, there are 2 common ways of doing a yj swap...
1 - cut off ur old spring hanges and perches and make new ones that are 2.5" wide. YJ's are much longer springs so u'll have to relocate either ur front or rear hanger. this will allow u to move u axels forward or backwards and change ur wheelbase as u like it. Take note, ur d-shaft lengths will change now too so theres more $$.
2 - buy a bolt on kitt. Xomeone on here has dun that recently and I think they even did a write up on it.. try the search button.
