Hey guys just got a quick or hopefully quick question lol my stock 1.3 motor is leaking oil but it is not the dissy O ring or the oil pan or the rear main its comming from the passenger side appears to be just below the carb now i noticed on the fuel pump i beleive it is there is 3 hoses comming off it and there is a spout looking thing off the side which looks like a hose should be connected but there isnt and it also appears to be the source of this leak but im not sure... so getting to my question is this possible or where else could it be leaking? I lost about a litre in one day... any help would be appreciated thanks Brad

ur fuel pump is toast.
if you had a gauge on there in line to your carb, you will notice that the pressure is probably around 1-2 psi. i went through 5 aftermarket pumps, that did the same thing before i got smart and just bit the bullet and bought a factory pump.when the diaphram goes, they leak oil out that little spout your talking about

ok so the fuel pump is gone but wouldnt that mean i wouldnt get any fuel to the motor? and also what would happen if i was to plug that spout?

nope, mechanical pumps die in degrees as the diaphragm goes out .. you'd still get fuel, just at lower pressure and less volume .. try it out on the highway, you'll notice at higher speed

thats right, at lower speeds, in town, you won't see much difference. if these motors had any power what so ever, you would see it big time. they're gutless, so they don't need tons of fuel, and carbs don't need pressure.
on the highway, going about 100km, and pinning it, you will go nowhere.kinda dangerous too, not like these things can pass others with ease.
anyway, thats what the spout is for, a vent and a place to get your driveway oily.
